ORIGINAL WORKSHEETS
Multiply three-digit factors in columns. Write a row for the ones, tens and hundreds, then add.
Use this set →Decide which partial row is zero. Keep the hundreds row in place even when the tens digit is zero.
Use this set →If the hundreds row starts one column too far left or right, have the learner read the multiplier as a sum of place values. In 206, the 2 means 200. Compare 324 × 2 with 324 × 200 before returning to the vertical layout.
The ones row is 324 × 6 = 1,944. The tens row is 324 × 0 = 0. The hundreds row is 324 × 200 = 64,800. Add 1,944 + 0 + 64,800 to get 66,744.
For an earlier step, try three digits by two digits. Add either original set to a custom packet, reopen a printed W3 code, or report how the worksheet worked.
