Build a focused practice page

Make the page fit the practice you have planned, from a single times table to a mixed set.

Start with the facts you want

The number-range presets use both factors from zero to five, zero to ten, or zero to twelve. For a more specific page, choose Custom range. The first and second factors each have their own starting and ending number.

For the seven times table, set the first factor from 7 to 7 and the second factor from 0 to 12. Every question will then start with seven. To focus on mixed facts from two to five, set both ranges from two to five.

Choose the amount of writing room

A page can contain 12, 24, 36 or 48 questions. Fewer questions leave more space between rows for working. The 48-question layout is more compact. Preview the page before downloading and choose the density that suits the person using it.

Know when a fact will repeat

The maker shuffles all ordered factor pairs in your chosen range before starting a new pass. For example, seven multiplied by zero through twelve gives thirteen different facts. A 24-question sheet in that range must repeat some facts. The maker displays a notice when the question count exceeds the number of available pairs.

Questions such as 3 × 4 and 4 × 3 are separate ordered pairs. Small ranges can therefore revisit the same product even when no exact pair repeats. Shuffling changes the order; it does not invent additional facts.

Make fresh versions

Choose up to four versions when you want different mixes. A letter marks each version, and every answer key carries the same letter. Small pools may share many facts across versions. Keep the generated set together when printing and checking.

Review, then choose the next page

Use the answer key to identify the facts you want to revisit. You can narrow the next range or make another mixed page. Numberleaf supplies printable practice materials; teachers and families decide how and when to use them. It does not assess mastery or prescribe a curriculum.
