MULTIPLICATION   /   THE FOURS

4 times table worksheets

Print a short fact check, a double-twice strategy worksheet or a full page of 100 questions. Each student sheet has its own matching key.

WORKED EXAMPLE

Double twice

To find 4 × 7, start with two groups of seven. Add another two groups of seven.

  1. First double7 + 7 = 14
  2. Double again14 + 14 = 28

If a learner answers 14, ask how many groups that first double counts. Two more groups are needed for the four-times fact.

TRY ONE

Find both doubles

Choose a partner and enter the number of objects in two groups, then in four groups.

For the complete set of examples, open the reference table below.

Use the printed sheet

For the 12-fact check, revisit any product that stopped the learner. On the 100-fact page, note the last question reached, then enter incorrect and skipped question numbers in the scorer.
